UMB - Lab Exercise

    1. take full cold backup of the database.

    2. restore the backup with different DB name.

    3. take hot backup of dev database and clone it to different name.

    4. corrupt the control file in the cloned database and restore again from hot backup.

    5. start the database, drop one data file and then recover the same.

    6. repeat the above step  for all datafiles(undo, temp,system).
